ONLINE EFFLUENT MONITORING SYSTEM(OEMS)

Online Effluent Monitoring Systems (OEMS) are technologically advance methods created to watch and test continuously the quality of wastewater which is released from industrial plants. These devices employ a number of sensors and analytical instruments for measuring such parameters as pH, chemical oxygen demand(COD), biological oxygen demand(BOD), total suspended solids(TSS), heavy metals, and other pollutions in real time. This data is collected and then sent to a central monitoring station where facility operators and regulatory bodies can use it to ensure compliance with environmental standards and timely corrective actions if needed.

Working Principle

Water Analyzer works mainly on the principle of UV Spectroscopy. UV-Vis spectroscopy operates by transmitting light through a water sample and assessing the degree of light absorption at various wavelengths.The absorption of light is influenced by the chemical composition of the water, rendering it a powerful method for recognizing and measuring diverse substances present in the water. This technique is proficient in identifying particles, organic materials, and various impurities, establishing it as a valuable option for analysing the quality of water. Working Principle

PM sensors work on the principle of laser scattering or physical light scattering. A beam of light is directed through a sample of air containing suspended particles. The particles in the air scatter light and the intensity of the scattered light is measured by detectors at specific angles. The indicated value is basically the relative concentration for the amount of scattering light due to particles

FLOWMETER

EIECS flowmeters stand out as reliable instruments for measuring liquid flow accurately in water treatment processes, finding widespread use in Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), and various other industries. Working Principle

The instrument works on Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction. The magnetic field is generated around the measuring tube by the instrument. The fluid passing through the measuring tube generates voltages. This voltage is directly proportional to the velocity of the flow. Thus the flow is measured and displayed on the indicator.
